D-ring bits give better direction and is a great alternative to full cheek bits. The action is direct and the bit has no lever action. The bridle cheek pieces can be fixed or passed through each ring for different effects. The high port leaves a large room for the horse’s tongue without creating any pressure on the palate. The horse can have better breathing and is more fixed and relaxed while working.
